This page is intended to go beyond the resume with visuals, links, and examples.
Having traveled throughout most of the country (fortunately by car), and the wide business experiences with customers, clients, and sales managers have left indelible marks that have shaped outlooks and approaches. The endeavors listed on this page are varied but have common underlying characteristics; they are processes that require thought, planning & organization, and technical aptitude to bring things to fruition.
Applying these varied "non-business" endeavors to a marketing/management position is beneficial because creatively diverse experiences will allow me to view things from different planes and levels in order to act in a more insightful and effective fashion.
The belief that a long memory and knowing about 'back then' gives a person greater perspective is akin to one of Winston Churchill's famous quotes, " The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you can see. "

Givan Associates Inc. was credited for being the first independent manufacturers rep firm in New England within the commercial sound industry for publishing its own website.
Designed with simplicity, easy navigation, and easy to find contact information as priorities, websites and its respective artwork/ logos have been created ranging from individuals to civic organizations and 501(c)3 organizations. A language translation business site for a client is coming soon.
ARRL / Ham Radio
The Spirit of Amateur Radio: Exam taken at ARRL (American Radio Relay League) and currently certified and licensed by the FCC as amateur ham radio operator since October 2014.
The exam consists of 35 questions of a pool of over 400 questions ranging from mathematical, technical, and federal regulations.

Focused on budget analysis, issue oriented current events, and issues of interest, ranging from a Massachusetts Hall of Fame to promotional pieces for musical acts like Ayla Brown.

Highlights were having a T&G blog read and discussed as the topic of the day on a regional talk radio show in Boston (WTKK 96.9 FM) and the other shared by a national talk radio host and NY Times best selling author.
Highlights were appearing in the Lifetime movie "The Assault" (movie clips below) and receiving radio airplay, first on KCLA 99.3 in Hollywood CA then commercial and college stations across New England such as WHJY Providence and WPXC Hyannis after release of CD.
